Established by Lyndsey Dain, a fully-qualified massage therapist in Dunoon, clients can access a wide range of luxury treatments at her studio, including Swedish massages, reflexology, aromatherapy, lava shell massage, and much more.

Treatments
This medium pressure massage is designed to be invigorating but is equally relaxing. This is the perfect treatment for anyone with a hectic demanding lifestyle who finds it hard to switch off.

This service takes place on a traditional massage chair, allowing for weight to be taken off the spine and giving easy access to the scalp, neck, back, shoulders, and arms.
Reflexologists work from maps of predefined pressure points located on the feet, hands or face.
Manipulating these points is said to connect directly through the nervous system and promote good health.

This experience is customised with a blend of aromatherapy oils to match the needs of the body and mind. A deeply relaxing massage that eases tension, relaxes and hydrates the skin.
- Aromatherapy Massage - £50
A personalised facial with products selected specifically for your requirements to cleanse, tone and hydrate. Multi-dynamic facial massage sequences will be used to combat any signs of environmental damage. This is the ideal treatment for restoring balance and skin health.
- Facial - £35
Let your thoughts drift away while an invigorating, cleansing scrub that encourages cell regeneration for the softest, smoothest skin is applied. The treatment includes a nourishing masque treatment and is completed by a relaxing massage.
- Body Scrub - from £40
This is a wonderfully indulgent treatment that combines the warmth of lava shells with deeply relaxing massage techniques to give a complete sense of balance. During the massage the lava shells and massage ease away tension, knots and stress for a sublime experience.
- Full Body - £65
- Back, Neck and Shoulders - £40
This is a nurturing and safe massage suitable for pregnancies in the second trimester. Relax while your qualified therapist offers provides a relaxing massage which will melt away your mother-to-be concerns using a comfortable side lying position.
- Pregnancy Massage - £40
A partial vacuum is applied in cups placed on the skin to draw up underlying tissues and release toxins. Lyndsey will undertake a consultation ahead of the treatment to determine a client’s condition and where exactly on the body that localised healing needs to take place.
- Chinese Acupressure Cupping with Massage - £35
A manual exfoliation treatment that removes layers of dead skin cells leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple and vibrant. By doing so fine velours hair is is removed (the peach fuzz hair) allowing for increased absorption of topical products.

A traditional technique used for relaxation and stress reduction that promotes healing. Reiki treats the whole person including body, mind and emotions.
The Treatment Process
All clients will undertake a confidential consultation during which they confirm the particular complementary service they require. The treatment is conducted in a calming and soothing atmosphere, with Lyndsey using the highest standard organic products.
Lyndsey’s main priority is to ensure clients are comfortable at all times and enjoy a treatment process that leaves them feeling relaxed, balanced and revitalised. Policies
Bookings
As we are receptionist and therapist at BCT the door is kept locked during treatment to ensure clients receive our full attention. Therefore, it is recommended booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance. Short notice availability will be posted on the Facebook page.
The best way to contact for appointments/products/gift vouchers is via text message, email or the Facebook page.
Arriving for your Treatment
Arriving super early or late can affect yours and others treatment time and privacy. If you are running late, please let us know we will always try to accommodate where possible. Your appointment times are allocated to create the BEST experience!
Cancellations
Cancellations and no shows have a huge impact on BCT. It is a super busy studio and often have people wanting last minute appointments, so if you do need to cancel an appointment please try and give 48 hours notice in order to allow the space to be offered to someone else.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% charge of treatment booked. If cancelling on the day of your appointment or you fail to show up a 100% charge will be applied. If this continues to happen you will be asked to pay for future treatments in advance before a booking can be secured.

Consultation and consent forms are an essential part of treatment at BCT to ensure no treatments are carried out to cause a negative effect on your health and comply with legal and statutory legislation. You can choose not to provide your personal details or health information however this would result in treatment not being provided.
About Lyndsey
Following a career working with the NHS, Lyndsey decided to pursue her goal of becoming a massage therapist in Dunoon. Balance Complementary Therapies was established in 2017 and takes pride in offering an exceptionally high standard of luxury treatments that incorporate the best available products and established complementary therapy techniques. As a motivated therapist Lyndsey enjoys attending professional development courses and updating her skills.
